Michelle Waters – Lines, Shapes and Color

Through this interactive workshop, Michelle shares some of the basic components of art composition in photography: Line, Shape and Color. Students will be given opportunities to search for these elements in several photographic examples, and recreate those elements in their own drawings and collage work.

Bio: Michelle has a BFA from the University of Akron, with an emphasis in Fine Art Photography and a minor in Commercial Photography. She has been a self-employed professional photographer for the past 16 years, and started her own photography business in 2004. In the past several years, Michelle has been pursuing a stronger focus in fine art, making one-of-a-kind image transfer pieces and custom commissions for individuals and businesses throughout the world. Michelle is also a working artist through the local artist collective, REsolve Studios, and a freelance photographer for Clutch MOV magazine, both based in Marietta, OH.
