Michelle Waters is a photographer, visual storyteller and image transfer artist. She teaches art techniques through the Parkersburg Art Center, and through independent lessons. Michelle graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art, with an emphasis in Photography and a Minor in Commercial Photography. Michelle has traveled the world photographing people and events, and has been featured in several local and national publications for her work. She has also had numerous art exhibits showcasing her photography, sewing and image transfer work. Michelle loves to inspire people to tap into their own creativity, and to let go of perfection.


Printmaking: Students will learn about different printmaking and stamping techniques, made with found objects and seasonal supplies. This class will be adaptable, and can be offered online or in-person. Class size only, K-6, 45 min.

Visual Art Standard: Explore: Identify media and materials used in creating art; understand processes and techniques in creating art. Creating: Apply problem-solving skills in creating two dimensional and 3-dimensional works of art; use materials and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
